"I
recently dropped a stock slow stick off a counter at a local
hobby store and damaged the wing tip. I decided to clip the
wings to get rid of the damaged area so I could go and fly
again. I gotta say that with the wings clipped it will fly a
little bit faster and a little more responsive but I seem to
have lost some of the lift I previously had with the wing
tips intact. I didn't get to fly but about seven or eight
minutes due to my friend running his slow stick into mine.
Unfortunately the accident destroyed my clipped wings and my
prop but didn't harm anything else. I will clip my wings
again after I get it set up for brushless outrunner. I think
it is a smarter idea to stick with the stock wing with the
stock motor." Adam S.
